Thanks for the advice? Reveals can be in different materials (KDHW MDF, primed, raw etc), they also come in different widths. All of these define the price... so there is no such thing as standard reveals. We would offer reveals, except on eBay when they are extra depending what people want. You should always ask... Any rough idea how much it costs per lineal metre for mdf reveals? I would be guessing as we don't supply MDF - but $4-$6/lm should be about right, including fitting. The window company will need your wall construction type to decide the width for each window. Your quote will generally include reveals. Pine? MDF is OK for single glazed windows. Sometimes finger jointed pine is used. We use KDHW and primed hardwood as our windows are always double glazed and therefore heavier.
