Hi,
Has anyone ever heard of cutting out the thin inner panels in most heritage entrance doors and installing glazing instead? Would it be hard to do?
A few years ago, handymen were installing thickened glass in doors in areas affected by aircraft noise, does anyone have any information on that?
I have to put in a 35mm entrance door for my house and I am trying to find a quality second-hand door to install but frankly most seem to be in as good nick as the existing front door. The bubbly glass in most of these doors is frankly quite tacky, a nice modern frosted glass would be preferred.
