We have just got our first home and we are looking to replace all the windows with PVC Double Glazed. Still got the kitchen and floors to do too!
Been looking around the forum a bit and can see there are a few Glazers in here so was wondering if these guys are able to give me a rough price + or - 1-2k on how much it would cost to get the below windows done.
I was thinking of having large windows as one side Tilt and the other as a slide and the smaller ones as Tilt. Would like a good U rate but I guess this all goes on the price, would be nice to know the costs between high and low U values.
I hope the above it not cheeky but im sure there are others on here who would probably like an idea too on how much it would roughly cost to re glaze the whole house
These are the rough sizes
Bed room 2
Bed room 3
1190X1820 X 2
Wash Room / Toilet
Kitchen window 2
The House is east facing, the living room, master bedroom and bedroom 1 are at the front of the house
The Dining room, Kitchen, Bedroom 2 and 3 are at the back
The rumpus room is at the back on ground level, which leads to a vergola.
The Bathroom / en suite and washroom etc.. are all on the side of the house facing north, there is around 4 meters between the house next door so I thinking during the day its mostly covered by shade.

The whole double glazed unit is sealed and your glazier would have brought one with him and removed the old one and installed the new one. Nothing else would work, it is standard.
