I disagree, The gap in bifolds where the doors join would be accessible from the same side as you close the door. So unlikely a child would have fingers there without you noticing, and each panel is moved independently so even less likely as you would be in the same position to close each panel as the child would be in to have fingers in between the panels. Whereas the stacker door has pinch points on both sides where the panels overlap and lock, and they close behind you so you may miss a child. But in both cases if you were really unlucky a bruised finger would result unless you slam doors.

If I knew this I would of chosen bi folds but builder steered us away. Oh well maybe down the track
