It is going to be energy efficient with lots of wall and roof insulation and double glazed windows (with thermally broken frames). What I am after is information on energy efficient doors (solid, not glazed). I know the doors need to have good seals to limit air infiltration - I don't want to have post fit rubber seals on new doors after construction. Also the the door itself should have as good an R rating as possible. Most of the manufacturers' websites don't seem to emphasize this. Is there a energy rating scheme for doors (as there is for windows - wers.net)? Does anyone know of a manufacturer that provides energy efficient doors?
