Now I'm thinking that white shutters behind our black windows will look all wrong. It's a federation cottage with a 40s reno so some of the windows are original timber framed sash with colonial style, the largest front window is a 40s timber sash with gorgeous bubbled glass and the new windows which can't be seen from front are black heavy framed aluminium. Does anybody have pics of black windows with white shutters that look good? People make one happy, not houses? I do not think so. Houses are more to be trusted than people.
