We have temporarily installed a temporary curtain (double temporary) So far it works OK, but the draft is playing up with the bottom part, so I (temporarily, of course) just placed a long narrow empty box there to hold it in place Not a good sight! Yes, it's now nice and cosy Since my close encounter with DP sort of didn't get me the desired result (and a quick and easy one ), I will be looking around for door/window joinery places (as per your advice, thank you Southies). But, this will take quite some time. I do hope they can make whatever we want/need. Did they install your frames/jambs and everything just on top of the tiles??
