Browse Forums Windows & Doors Re: 6Mtr Multi Stack Doors 8Jun 07, 2011 4:56 pm Hi, You can get a 6m stacker from upvc Kommerling profile - no problem. With 4mm toughened on both sides of the double glazed unit, these should set you back about 10K, flyscreeens extra. We have made a 6m stacker recently for a Sydney customer, but with laminated glass with great results. We have had customers from interstate making arrangements for their own delivery, but it might take a bit of effort. I have been talking to a couple of non commercial places, Katrina at Windowfactory has been really good & a couple of places in Brisbane are able to do it too, talking with Duce & Bliss Joinery so will wait on prices from them & see I think. Kyton that has been the main stumbling block for doors all stacking to one way, heaps will do it (though most slightly under the 6mtr opening but I could live with it, but then they won't screen it for this reason. But both Duce & Bliss use the centor flyscreen which sits in the frame itself. At least that's my understanding from talking with them both today. So will see Bec Re: 6Mtr Multi Stack Doors 15Jun 12, 2011 12:37 am brbp PHL can I ask approx $$, what opening are you having it. We're also looking at 6m; awaiting cost from architect as we were looking at ways to protect that opening, as we need BAL-FZ level protection. Re: 6Mtr Multi Stack Doors 16Jun 12, 2011 1:16 pm Thanks for that. We got our quote back from Duce & I have to say we were pleasantly surprised, they will do a 2300 x 6000 stackable unit for us as follows; xxxx, 4 sleeves all stack against the outside wall of the house, so when completley open the opening is 6m. This is a bonus, I was thinking the last sleeve would be fixed (oxxx) & a centor retractable screen. All will be in New Guinea Rosewood. So I'm pretty sure we'll be going with them.
