I think mirrors is a little outdated now and will be pain to clean. Sliders allow for more furnishable wall space, and we needed this as we lost area with the extentions. 3 small children = vinyl. Clean mirror looks gorgeous, but I can't stand them covered in prints & have better things to do than clean them daily! They were the same price with our builder (mirror/vinyl). We have mirrored, being an apartment we need them to make the space look bigger. We dont get a lot of fingerprints, but that is because we are anal about using the side rail. We will have them in the new house, wish I had found this thread earlier and read what cutting edge had to say. Our guest bedroom has an 820 door on the BIR.... I knew i should have changed it!
