Our builder forgot/didn't know we were getting flyscreens fitted. Our PCI was today, he will look into it! oops!
Anyway, I am confident he will come up with the goods as I am impressed with his work so far.
However we do have double glaze windows by A&L, and the lip behind the locking device is very very shallow. At our current rental, the windows are similar, in that they are awning and have locks, but the lip is deeper to fit the flyscreen frame. It is a different brand (?steg..something) and single glazed. The flyscreens are removable type which is good for window cleaning. I would hope to get similar in te new house.
I wonder how the flyscreens will be fitted? Do A&L have very slimline frames which fit into this shallow lip? Our builder didn't know as he hasn't put in many DGs (it boggles my mind why new homes do not have DG as standard)
Hopefully someone here has a similar setup who can help.
