Browse Forums Windows & Doors Re: Need advice on honeycomb / cellular blinds 5Feb 01, 2011 12:20 pm Answer to 1-3 in one go - The light filtering are very robust & can even be scrunched up and will sit back into place. The block out fabric isn't as soft & will show creases a little more easier but excellent for blocking out the light. Generally the fabrics are anti static so they repel the dust. Alight vacuum can help if you think they need it. Depending on size they can be washed at home in tepid water in a bath but you can also get them ultrasonically cleaned by a professional. You could do a combination of a roller & the honeycomb - this would work best if the roller could be mounted into the recess of the window with the honeycomb installed onto the outside. The other option is the twin honeycomb with sheer fabric & second fabric for dual operation. Not sure about the rebate - sorry Yes Luxaflex do have them, so do Designed blinds now - exact same blind as Luxaflex, made in same factory just have different labels. They come with good warranty & product does last.
