Hi everyone,
I have done a search on this and found a little bit. but I am thinking that I am probably not the first person to ask a question like this - so maybe it is my search parameters? Anyway....
We visited our site on the weekend and we have had our windows put in - yee hah! Only thing is that the high sliders are nice and firm but the double hung - even when lifted with both hands and slowly are getting stuck and feel "tinny" and "wobbly". Is this normal or should I be expecting them to be better. When we were looking at window choices I went and tested the opening of the double hung to make sure that they were not like the old "school windows" which used to take 3 kids to open them.
They weren't - they were lovely and solid in the showroom. Not in my house though
They are aluminium, by a big window supplier, and we have them because they gave the house an architectural "face" and feel.
Any comments or help or experience would be appreciated.
Cheers!
ML
