Browse Forums Windows & Doors 1 Nov 26, 2010 10:37 am We are currently getting the bathroom renovated and I need a new window. We have decided on a Louvre Window. It is going to take 3 wks to get the aluminium framed style. But it will be quicker if we the frame made in Timber. The tradesman told me he would used Re-Treated Pine and good quality merbau. Am I taking a risk that timber get water damage as the bath is under the window and the shower is next to it? Re: Louvre Window in Bathroom 2Nov 27, 2010 8:01 am If you keep the maintenance up on the wooden window frame and seal it properly, I don't think there should be a problem. My in-laws have a bathroom completely lined in timber and they've had no problems with it for 40 years but they do keep up the varnishing each year (its scandanavian style retro!) 2 11140 that will depend on the kitchen bench depth. you'll have to specify it so it allows for both the tap and the sink 1 7592 |
