Re: PVC Windows 12Nov 16, 2010 6:00 pm PVC Windows.... We did a total renovation on an old house in Hobart 3 years ago and replaced all the windows with tilt & turn Kommerling units. We even used a Kommerling window as the "wall" for our shower with a small garden outside of it. The initial concern - particularly with the shampoo and other things ladies like to stick in their hair, was staining on the shower window frame. This has not been a problem at all, quite the opposite actually. The pink stain (beats me why it's pink) from some shampoo's/ soaps simply wipes off with a bit of "spray&wipe". The other windows in the house are all exposed to full sun; watering system from the garden and dog nose grime! Nothing seems to stick to these things!
