Not toughened / security glass. How much would it cost to either (a) replace it entirely with toughened glass, or (b) somehow "toughen" it, by adhering something to it or something Thanks! Best bet is to ring a couple of glaziers in your area. Prices can vary considerably. We are having 10mm toughened shower screens and we have had 2 quotes where one was double the other. Just as a guide we are getting 2 screens 1m x 1.8m for $1430 installed (but that is just to sit the glass into the pre-existing channels). The other place was the same price but each. Way more than I expected. It's only a small pane of glass...I hoped it'd be a few hundred bucks. lol. I'd have to measure it before contacting glaziers. Thanks!! Toughened glass is made to measure and may cost (guessing what they may add) say $70/m2 installed. You could have laminated glass as a replacement at say $80/m2 installed. Shouldn't be a lot different to my price depending where you are. So allow up to $100 travel as well. Get some quotes. You can have a safety film applied at a lower cost.
