Browse Forums Windows & Doors 1 Jul 22, 2007 3:24 pm We have recently installed a split system air conditioner in our brick veneer house and no longer need the old wall unit. Removing it will leave a hole in the external wall of the building, and I'm thinking of having a stained glass fixed window made for the hole.
Will there be any need for reinforcing the opening before installing the stained glass window? Re: Stained glass (leadlight) to fill hole 2Jul 22, 2007 9:46 pm I've seem some of those windows done without any reinforcement. Looked like they were quite old and there was no visible damage on the wall.
