Hi,
does anybody has uPVC windows installed with VEKA profiles and what is your experience? Are they similar to Kömmerling in terms of quality? VEKA is a German profile.

They either form part of the total hardware, or the holes and cutouts are suited to only that brand. But ask, they may offer a choice. Then you must decide what you are prepared to accept and whether you are convinced that the quality will be retained regardless of where the profile (or even windows) are actually made. One way to compare quality from a technical perspective is to inquire about the performance of windows under test conditions for UV weathering, sound insulation etc. Hope this helps. Cheers, I don't know them all, the first 2 top of your list are best known. Rylock is a good company, Stegbar is for sale. 4 16235 I’m in a similar position except I’m after sliding 3 stacking doors.
