Given the need for custom-fit doors to match the angle of the stairs, they've used what appears to be chipboard flooring...it's a little ugly, very heavy, and seems to be straining the hinges somewhat. Can anyone suggest if using flooring is considered ok for doors, or are we asking for trouble in the long term? What else could/should have been used?
