We discovered an unused space we are converting into a children's cubby. I want to put an aluminium window in but windows I have looked at have the frame inside the reveal and require the cladding to be inserted into the external window frame channel. You used to be able to get windows where the external part extended beyond the reveal (like putting a hat into a hole, leaving the brim outside). Help! I don't want to use wide architrave around the outside as it would not match any of the existing windows.
Thanks for any advice anyone can offer,
