Not as cold as Ballarat in Victoria where we use to live. Wind chill is low in Tumbarumba. The idea is to replace our old Snowy Mountain windows with floor to ceiling windows to take advantage of the views. We were going to have sliding doors as the windows but I now read on this forum how sliding doors can leak cold air. Are hinged double opening doors a better option for an air tight seal? (We want a door in each window bay so we can just walk out on to the verandah from anywhere in the house). Do these doors need to be Comfort Plus in place of DG doors. Not sure if you can purchase DG doors anyway. Would 7.52 Comfort plus be an okay alternative to DG?
