Hi all
I have vantage 514 double hung windows. Was wondering if it is possible to change 1 sash/panel to become fixed?
Thank you!

Was wondering if it is possible to change 1 sash/panel to become fixed? Thank you! Not sure... does it use the other panel as a counterbalance? If not, and they operate independently, then why don't you just not open it? Ed Hi Ed, When I open the bottom sash, the top sash slides down as well...the friction levels to hold the sashes seems to vary with the different windows (some hold their position better than others)...even if they were made/ordered at the same time... (I am building a new house and windows have just been put in). Some of the windows seem to have a springy effect... Maybe there are adjustments that can be made that i dont know of?? not sure... Thanks Re: Double Hung Windows 4Jun 14, 2010 9:07 am nelson15 ed @ EcoClassic nelson15 Hi all I have vantage 514 double hung windows.
