Browse Forums Windows & Doors 1 May 19, 2010 1:03 pm I am building a home in yellow rock Blue Mountains, NSW and was wondering if there is any leeway with the BAL rating if there is a road between the front elevation and the hazard (ie trees) we have an asset protection zone of 40m behind our house which limits us building any further back however this means we are only 28m from the hazard at the front which gives us a higher rating than the west (rear) elevation. I am disappointed as I am not keen on having screens on my front doors - anyone know a solution to this?
