Hi everyone!
I had my first quote for curtains today - a double track - blockout at the back, sheer on top (I know it's the other way around - but you get a nicer look with the sheer on top when the blockout is closed) and painted modern wooden pelmet.
For 3 curtains - 1x2.1m wide window, 1x2.7m stacker door and 1x3.1m stacker door (all 2.1m drop) and all up came to about $3300.
I have some vague rule of thumb of about $1000 per decent sized window - so these don't seem too bad.
I didn't choose expensive fabrics - the sheers were about $40/m and the blockout is actually curtain lining (so you don't have to spend heaps on fancy curtain fabric since you use the sheer on top as the feature)
I've booked in for another quote at a work room (rather than an interior design place which did the first one)
