Our 2 storey house is at finalising stage and recently when we reviewed the construction drawings we found a missing window in the bathroom. It was meant to have 2 square windows 520x520 cm centred over the bath which is at the far end from the bathroom door .
The bldr now mentioned that since we have extended the alfresco and have high ceilings downstairs the highest peak of the alfresco roof comes adjacent to the second window so they will provide only one window at the far left of the bathroom. I think one un-centred window is going to look worse than having no windows at all... but being a bathroom i think some natural light is essential. This is the southern part of the house with cladding (no bricks) so, glass bricks there is out of question. Shall I ask them to provide fixed glass accross the length of the bathtub approx 400cm wide and 160 cm long above the bath tub close to the ceiling.. will that look weird?
What options do I have here?
sorry i do not have the skills to post the drawings
