Browse Forums Windows & Doors 1 Apr 13, 2010 2:02 am Today I had a meeting with the architect which I wanted to go over a few things. Upon his arrival I decided to pop to the post box to see if by some wild chance it had happened! And it had. There it was - a great big fat envelope with a yes yes yes attached to it!!! Needless to say I am very chuffed! Now just need to find confirm a few trades. Brickies seem the toughest at the moment to come by so if you have any recommendations ... would love them! Re: Building Licence 2Apr 18, 2010 12:15 am Your bricklayer will make or break your house as all other trades simply work off him!. A house that starts right will finish right so get a reference from whoever you chose and don't take the cheapest price, as you will only get what you pay for. Bricklaying is the most labour intensive and least appreciated, so a bonus few beers will do wonders Good luck. ps have someone check the set out before work progresses too far. Thanks for your reply. I will just wait and see I guess.
