Low light penetration, attractive colours like BLUE and GREEN and of course a nice silver on the other side. Also has good insulating properties.... Redi Shade Australia 122cm x 183cm = $7.00ea 122cm x 229cm = $14.50 (double pack) Postage & Handling = $18.50 per order Great thread!! Unfortunately, this brand is no longer sold by Bunnings, also, today I called the number listed above, I was informed that they no longer stock the product...it also cannot be delivered from the redishade.com website as they only deliver to US and Canada So, it seems Redishades are a not available to us on Oz , I think I will go with Blinds in a Box but they are not long enough for the slider doors, any suggestions? I bought blinds from Redishade via the internet about a month ago. They were good to deal with and they shipped from the US. I haven't hung them yet as my house isn't finished. they cost me about $220 including shipping and I may have been able to save $10 if I'd gone with blinds in a box. Re: Temporary Window Coverings Megathread 23Jan 25, 2012 9:11 am January 2012. This is the latest on Redishade blinds and where to get them from if anyone is interested. I got onto Redishade in the USA this is the email I sent and recieved. Me: "Do you ship or have a distributor in Australia. I've been ringing everywhere but the Bunnings stores that you distribute to don't sell them don't anymore. Thanks in advance." Redishade replied:"Thank you for your interest in our product. We have a couple of local options for you to try. We received word from a customer who contacted the Bunnings in Tuggeranong (Canberra) and found they had a few of our shades in stock. They're shipping them to the Bunnings near her in Sydney. You could try contacting the Tuggeranong Bunnings store first. We have also established a new distributor relationship in Australia. Their contact information is: Damon De Angelis Hometec Plantation Shutters Ringwood Vic Aus Ph: 0408 335 973 Fax: 9879 3379 e: info@htfa.com.au w: http://www.htfa.com.au/ If either of these options do not work out, we would be happy to work with you directly from here in the States. Please contact us via email at sales@redishade.com so we can review your specific needs. I hope this info will help the people interested in this product and save them from ringing every Bunnings store in Melbourne. But this email did come too late for me. I got desparate and I actually found a similar shade on ebay (melbourne seller) http://www.ebay.com.au/sch/Home-Garden- ... ary+blinds Ivanhoe 36 Dep:18-4-11 Tender:26-5-11 Colour/Electrical:8-6-11 Contract:29-6-11 Building Permit:6-7-11 Site Start:16-8-11 PCI:10-1-12 Handover:24-1-12 http://eli-kay-ivanhoe36.blogspot.com/ Re: Temporary Window Coverings Megathread 24May 17, 2012 12:43 pm Hi All, I am a new member, so hope I am doing this right! Friends of ours just moved into their new PD home last week. They have the usual sheets nailed up on their bedroom windows and were asking us about temporary blinds as we had RediShades in our last house when we moved in. We said they should go to Bunnings but apparently they don't have them anymore. So we went to their website and found they have a new distributor in Australia - Ezyblind window solutions. I emailed them before and they said they will be shipping soon with a new online store being launched in a few weeks. Much better than the usual sheets or newspaper! – Brian Re: Temporary Window Coverings Megathread 25Jun 06, 2012 12:44 pm I also went to Bunnings to look for these blinds but had no luck. I'm on the mailing list of I seek blinds and received an email Monday saying they now stock temporary blinds. I've just built a new house and can't afford blinds right now so I have temporary blinds and for a whole house they cost me $200. I ordered them monday and received them Tuesday.
