I have two square awning windows in my splashback. Is it possible to change these to louvres? If so, would it be a nightmare or relatively simple?

There are 2 ways to fit louvres... as a louvre gallery inside an existing window and as a complete louvre window. Inside an existing window requires the window depth to be sufficient to take the gallery. A new window requires the old window to be taken out and the new fitted... if your old one is aluminium it's likely that you will need wide architraves to cover the gap. So best thing is to get someone like Robert Mason (Breezeway distributor Melbourne) to quote the replacement. But you need someone to install. Then there are flyscreens... Why not get an opening window from you existing window supplier, easier to changeover, and easy flyscreens.
