Browse Forums Windows & Doors 1 Feb 13, 2010 8:39 pm just ordered blinds for the entire house but now i am second guessing myself. we have sliding doors going to a covered area (glass size is 3000 W x 2100 H). am having in place a light filtering shade inside and blockout outside the trims. i wonder if i should have just gone with one. which should i retain - the light filtering or blockout? thoughts please???? Re: a blind question 3Feb 13, 2010 9:03 pm I don't have any blockout blinds, I thought I would either have them down when the sun is coming in, and usually it isn't for very long anyway, and up at all other times. Bedrooms may have been the only area I would have had blockouts as well, but I opted for plantation shutters to suit my situation. You can really use anything you want the main consideration would be how it looks once painted/finished - or the look you want.
