Just wondering about peoples thoughts/experience on ventex fabric venetians-through kresta, and double roller blinds.
If you have the blinds how are yours installed? Do the rollers stick out of the recess and do you have side gape? Whats good/bad about them?
Are your venetians nearly maintenance free (as we are lead to believe of ventex) do they look good? Do you like them?
We have seen two reps and both do dbl blinds different. One company uses 2 seperate blinds (one in the recess and one outside the recess-made slightly bigger to eliminate gaps) while the other company have the two rollers on a bracket, which means that the top one will stick out of the recess a good 4cm-ie side gape.
Which would be the better system? What would you get or is there a better way...one that sits in the recess without sticking out?
I think DHs mind is set on the ventex, but I know nothing about them, he prefers the venetians I prefer the blinds.
