What is the norm for them swinging in or out? Space internally to swing doesn't really bother me as the room is a not bad size, the balcony isn't very large with only a 1200 depth (each door is standard 820), however, I don't think I'll use the balcony much anyway since I don't have a view (just for aesthetics). I do see myself wanting to open the doors often for breezes though, so I'll probably to screen it. Would screens look uglier on the inside or the outside since its on the facade? Or do screens just ruin the look of french doors all together? Thanks in advance. The best flyscreens for a FD are a roller type... unltrascreen.com.au., they fit inside and look OK. But they will be destroyed if you have pets or small kids. Cost maybe $1,200. If you leave your door open you need to think about a restraint to prevent the wind catching it and smashing it into the brickwork.
