Browse Forums Windows & Doors 1 Jan 15, 2010 10:06 pm Probably a stupid question But how small can sliding door panels be? Could you get 3 panels in a 3m-ish space (i.e. 1m each?) Reason Im asking is that we have a 3m-ish opening and I dont want to restrict the opening space of the door, and apparently bifolds can be very expensive (will find out next week! ) so Im looking at other options too Any other ideas??? So Ed, does that mean a 3 stacker door at 2.65m would make each panel 88-ish cm?? So if my opening was 3m (I have no idea how big it is, but I *think* its around 3m), I could get three panels at 1m each? Re: Sliding door panels or options which dont restrict opening? 4Jan 16, 2010 11:15 am There's a 2.65 wide stacker in our showroom. I think we added it since your visit. 2 panels open to give a 1.57m opening. Standard sizes are 2.65m and 3.01m. Ours (unlike the majority of stacker doors) has the track for the security door. BTW we do the timber finish in aluminium now too... looks sensational, maybe the same cost as the PVC ones you saw.
