We wanted double glazing to all windows, but the cost is prohibitive. Does anyone have advice on the best windows to use to enhance energy savings - the home has a NE aspect (main living with lots of glass faces this way). Any advice appreciated... There are a large number of energy efficient glazing options available, with specific energy ratings to suit your particular location. You may also find that only some of the windows really need to be affected. Your window fabricator should be able to suggest an appropriate solution or you could contact the glass suppliers directly.
