I want to control the speed of door closure so it won't be slammed so hard. What sort of produce can do the job? I intended to get one for our new timber front door, BUT now that I think about it it won't be any good if I need to *close* the door quickly if there is an unwelcome visitor You can get them quite easily at the hardware store and they are industrial ones with an arm as opposed to an air chamber. I am no expert, you just had me thinking ther for a minute. I am sure a specialist door person that really knows what they are talking about will give us some advice.
