Browse Forums Windows & Doors 1 Nov 14, 2009 10:04 pm Hello people, I was wondering if anyone knows what the gumy stuff is called which is put around glass to keep windows in there place. I have an old style glass window which I have to replace. It is from the era when they had ropes and weights inside the window frame. It seems the glass is kept in the frame by gymy putty looking stuff which has gone very dry. Is this stuff still availabale and if so what is it called please. If not what would keep the glass in place in its stead? Thanks Humph. Quitting Time is the time between the start of your project and the never ending finish.
