Looking at the bulkhead on top, it looks like the wall will run into the wall on the other side (and not the WIR entrance). If that's the case, couldn't you put in any door in a frame ? You could even get really fancy and put in a frameless pivot door, similar to what's shown in this thread (but in timber) viewtopic.php?f=1&t=22704&hilit=frameless+glass+doors&start=80 I love the door that you have shown - can you recommend any places where we can get quotes from? I haven't had much luck finding anyone online. Also, here is the floor plan for the MB which hopefully better highlights where we want the door to go. Thanks. ![]() Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Built PD Beaumont 35 - One year down in the new house.. still so much to do.. ![]() Re: plz suggest a door/covering 6Nov 10, 2009 10:15 am What about just putting in a door frame and a normal right handed door. Otherwise there may be options for adding a door to the ensuite but I think that will lose the effect of your ensuite. The plan certainly helps. I'm not a huge fan of those folding doors especially in a modern looking home. Have you taken your floor plan somewhere like a door specialist to look at all your options? Re: plz suggest a door/covering 7Nov 10, 2009 10:30 am I would look at getting some Carpartner/builders to come in an quote you for a wall with door option - you may be surprised it wont be that expensive and you could paint it yourself to save some money. That wall doesn't appear to be a load bearing wall and so a cavity door should be easily placed. Re: plz suggest a door/covering 11Nov 11, 2009 4:01 pm I was thinking of a cavity door too. My preference but wasn't sure how much work would be involved. I am in Newcastle NSW so I had them made through Nova which is a local shower screen and wardrobe manufacturer, made on site. Re: plz suggest a door/covering 17Nov 25, 2009 8:21 am I like all off the other ideas. Don't go with the venetian thing, it looks awful and dated!
