We have recently gotten a few quotes from some window companies but a lot of the quotes state they don't include reveals or lugs.
I'm not too sure what reveals / lugs are (or what's their purpose) so can someone please explain this to me?
Thanks

Thanks In a brick veneer home, the reveals are used to nail or screw the aluminium window into the opening of the house framework prior to bricking. Where reveals are not used, the brick lug is used to attach windows into brickwork where a timber house frame isn't used - like a garage window or in double brick construction.
