To be honest.. i HATED the translucent glass when i first saw it in our door and especially in our bathroom, but it's really grown on me and now I'm really happy with it. I know there are a LOT of the madison doors around.. so if you drove through a new estate, i'm sure you'll come accross a lot with the translucent. Might help you get a better feel for the look. I like the glazing, we get alot of light in but have complete privacy (never thought when building that our neighbours car lights would come right in through the front doors so really happy we didn't go clear!!!) Our front also faces West so it's been good in filtering the afternoon sun, another thing I didn't think of before Here's a few pics, ours are stained inside and out - when the painter did one in Antique Cherry (right) and the other Teak!
