Hi all...
my contract is very close by now, when i realise, oh no, i forgot to do my homework on windows !
my builder supplies aluminum frame window (normal glass 2-3mm).
most of the windows are sliding window facing north and south, 2 awning facing east.
my plan is to have sliding window with flyscreen, so i can open window in the afternoon.
after reading article about aluminium, seems they have low R rating (high U) and not good for insulation.
so i try to avoid aluminium.
*** can anyone suggest me what's a good alternative / best alternative to replace this aluminium frame window ? ***
if budget allows me, i would like to have double glaze too.... but really depending on the budget... oh well
from what i learn, seem i can get uPVC, or timber (timber probably not, because the glass gap)
is there any alternative that cheap but efficient for replacing those aluminium window ?
does it support sliding window too ? or perhaps something similar that can give me same function to open window and having flyscreen on the same time.
thanks guys
