We are looking at putting one into our kitchen window which will open up to our alfresco area, something like this: http://www.stegbar.com.au/products/wind ... d_windows/ Pros? Cons? Recommendations? Do the big biulders offer them as an upgrade usually or do I out-source? Caz & Co ALL MOVED IN!! Now comes all the hard work-decorating.... We supply these in aluminium. Pros... look good, operate well to open up a wall. An "in vogue" product. Cons... expensive solution. Expensive flyscreen. You would order at time of build. Our PVC slider would be maybe 1/10th the price, do the same job (as all sashes slide) and have an integral flyscreen. You would have maybe 4 sashes as a servery window. The window in this graphic would be around 600mm high so the members would appear narrower in a 1200mm high window.
