Browse Forums Windows & Doors 1 Aug 16, 2009 4:39 pm Hi,
we're ready to get our blinds (so we can take down the redi shades - it's been nearly 2 months and that's just too long) and I was wondering if any of you lovely people had suggestions for me. So far Curtain Wonderland is looking like my best bet. Does anyone know of any other places that are worth a look? Thanks, Carmel Re: Timber Blinds. Where did you buy yours? Please Help. 2Aug 16, 2009 4:45 pm Hi there, I live in Melbourne and have seen some reasonably priced ones I am looking at if a professional company's quote comes in too high. Spotlight is the place and they have sales all the time. cheers http://www.harribeka.blogspot.com Re: Timber Blinds. Where did you buy yours? Please Help. 3Aug 16, 2009 4:59 pm My friend has just done her blinds at spotlight - they were 40% off so the whole house was done quite cheap in comparison to the custom mades. Easy to hang and look great. Re: Timber Blinds. Where did you buy yours? Please Help. 4Aug 16, 2009 6:24 pm we did our last house from spotlight Re: Timber Blinds. Where did you buy yours? Please Help. 5Aug 16, 2009 6:26 pm I havent purchased my blinds yet but liked the pricing and look of the blinds from these 2 stores online http://www.cheapa-blinds.com.au/ http://www.woodnation.com.au/ I have some samples from both and are pretty similar. If curtain wonderland is charging you full price these guys might be a cheaper option Blog - http://snakedr.blogspot.com/ Build Thread - viewtopic.php?f=31&t=12084&p=307406#p307406 Status - PCI 15/10. I like the bamboo and eco blinds. We have bamboo floors downstairs. I looked at spotlight online and couldn't see any big enough for one of our windows, and I want them all the same. I went to Syd Blinds & screens and they quoted me over $5k, then straight away discounted it by more than half Why do they bother with the high price? I'd have to be mad to pay that much. And that just browns me off so I wont go back there now. I hate mind games. Has anyone bought from cheapa-blinds? (I know it's a long shot - I'd never heard of them before) Re: Timber Blinds. Heard of them? 9Nov 04, 2009 3:58 pm digging up an old topic.. we are looking at aluminium venetians.. and the price different (uninstalled) between local curtain companies and that online cheapa-blinds place is outrageous. We have at least 3 windows in our place that are 1.8mtx1.8mtr online I got a price of $143 at cheapa-blinds went to the place around the corner.. do the right thing..support the little local guy.. same thing -- was $220 PLUs install !! Is there really much of a difference ? Id love to know what the quality is like... any feedback? Re: Timber Blinds. Cheapa-Blinds online. Heard of them? 10Nov 04, 2009 8:56 pm I bought blinds from cheapa, spotlight and curtain wonderland and they all look chinese. Im guessing the quality is going to be pretty similar from most places even though the pricing varies greatly. Heard of them? 11Nov 05, 2009 5:06 pm We eventually ordered our blinds from All Blind Solutions. Turned out they had done a couple of friends homes. I found the idea of ordering online a bit too uncomfortable. Plus when I entered all of my info the price wasn't that good anyway. The blinds themselves are a good price, but the cut down charge really added up. We ordered eco blinds but the warehouse didn't order enough raw materials, so they offered us a more expensive product for the same price I haven’t. But have a Lowe Design home. Not only did I find Matt Lowe patronising and a bully, but the home is NOT TO CODE. I have water coming through the bricks… 1 14351 Hi everyone. I am thinking to install security screens to all the doors and… 0 24601 Engineering timber is certainly a less fuss option, times cheaper to supply and install and better withstands humidity. 1 15907 |
