Browse Forums Windows & Doors Re: Which window mouldings ? 5Aug 12, 2009 12:16 pm borg Cant you simply push the windows in a few mm then buzz the reveals from the inside before installing achitrave. Would do no good. Problem is cladding surface being a few mm off one way or another, following the studs' edges. Aluminium frames come with trimmings that can hide that, or can be set deeper inside the openings as they're much thinner, not posible with PVC. Too late for that anyway, the windows're screwed in and fixed with expanding foam, moving them would be quite hard and costly. The best solution is to butt the external mouldings against the frames, then fix the imperfections with packing and render.
