Any advice on where to start and how would be very appreciated. It look like a nightmarish job but we have no choice but to fix them or in a few years will have to changed them at a huge cost. Re: Painting federation/colonial windows 2Jul 08, 2009 2:55 pm We have colonial windows in our place...I didn't worry about getting paint on the glass...easier and quicker to slap the paint on...and use a nice clean new blade paint scaper when dry, to remove the paint from the glass...comes off easy.
