Umm are you referring to our house? I wouldn't say it performs badly. The overheating issue may occur about once a fortnight and is easily overcome. We don't use infloor heating, just ducted RCAC. Our projected energy use for winter heating will be around 90MJ/m2 (which is equivalent to an 8.5 star house). We currently maintain interior temperatures at around 20-21 degrees throughout the day which falls to 17 degrees by the time we get up. Outside averages are 12 (max) to 6 (min). We tend to run heating at the moment for about 2 hours first thing in the morning and 4 hours in the evening then switch off before bed.
