Browse Forums Windows & Doors 1 Jun 25, 2009 12:40 pm I'm stressing out what would be a better look for my kitchen window! Would the roman blind look better inside the frame or right out to the edge of the frame? What would you do? Need to make up my mind by tomorrow, before the curtain lady makes it!! HELP!! 3Jun 25, 2009 12:57 pm Mmmm...the guy that just installed the curtain tracks talked me into having it done on the inside as he reckons its better for a kitchen window. When the curtain lady measured up she did it on the outside. He works in with her so as he does many kitchens I went with it, but am having doubts already. I think just the reason i asked on this forum is telling me...GO FOR THE OUTSIDE!!lol Remember that not getting what you want is sometimes a wonderful stroke of luck! - Dalai Lama Re: Roman blind inside or outside architrave? HELP!! 5Jun 25, 2009 1:18 pm I'm not looking for it to be dark, but just the overall look and privacy, as i have a deck that runs the complete length of the house, and would be easy to look in at night! Are you getting it done for your kitchen window as well?...sorry if i'm being too nosy Remember that not getting what you want is sometimes a wonderful stroke of luck! - Dalai Lama Re: Roman blind inside or outside architrave? HELP!! 6Jun 25, 2009 1:44 pm Hi SO, I'd put it on the inside. I think it would look neater... especially in that spot near the tap. Don't think privacy would be a prob as you have quite a wide bit of window frame all around. buzz Re: Roman blind inside or outside architrave?
