Browse Forums Windows & Doors 1 Jun 19, 2009 8:52 pm Hi all, I want to buy ready made blinds (aluminium venetians or roller) for as many windows as possible. No problems with the ones that are 1800mm, 1200mm, 1500mm, 900mm wide I assume.... I've seen heaps of blinds with these measurements. Also have 850mm windows which I think may need to be made specially... but what about the windows that are 610mm? I've found blinds that are 600mm, will these be OK? Is the 610mm measurement, the size of the glass itself? or of the glass plus frame? Anyone used ready made blinds for a slightly larger window? Thanks buzz PS. I want them to sit inside the window sill bits if possible. If they are awning windows will this be possible (because of the winder handles)? Re: Ready made blinds for slighty odd(?) window size 2Jul 01, 2009 9:11 am I am having ready made roller blinds. I have a window with size 610mm, so i bought the 850mm ready made blind and asked the store to cut it and make it to fit 610mm. The cost for the cut is only $24.95 (but i have got it free with their promo). I have been told that 600mm ready blind is still ok (properly just leave a small gap) but if you want a perfect fit like i do, then better get a bigger blind and cut to fit, so it is up to your choice/personal preference Blog - http://clageonewhouse.blogspot.com/ Building Thread - viewtopic.php?f=31&t=10886&hilit=milan I am in, with my husband and my beautiful bunny Use a product like Equisol's Vitalise to clean the deck then coat with a penetrating timber oil.
