Browse Forums Windows & Doors 1 Jun 19, 2009 8:05 pm Hi, I know they sound dorky, but I need some curtains. Pre-made ones. The plan is to hang wooden venetians too later on. Looks good in my head
So where do I go? Spotlight? It's just that I'm worn out already and the thought of searching for some exhausts me. Can you help me out with some suggestions? Re: Where to Buy Curtains. Please Help Me. 2Jun 19, 2009 8:39 pm Cheap and cheerful... Spotlight has a sale on at the moment, just looked at the catalogue yesterday and saw lots of curtains. Also Ikea has lots -for good prices. They also sell some great fabrics VERY cheaply which can be curtainised very easily. buzz Re: Where to Buy Curtains. Found Some! Thanks for the help :-) 5Jun 21, 2009 2:22 pm Thanks Missy and Buzz I went to Curtain Wonderland and Spotlight yesterday, and bought the ones I found at Ikea today It feels so good to have crossed this off my list. Hubby and the kids came too. It was a very squeezy trip home Re: Where to Buy Curtains. Found Some! Thanks for the help :-) 6Jun 21, 2009 5:03 pm Which curtains from Ikea did you get? I'm eyeing some off at the moment - Stockholm Block. May go and get a pair to see if I like them, then get the rest. They're a great price too. Judie Re: Where to Buy Curtains. Found Some! We got there at 9.30 and it was ok, then we were nearly out when we remembered b'fast bar stools - so we left the kids (12 and 10) with the trolley and headed back It was bedlam. We could hardly move. I got a little freaked and felt bad for leaving the kids (turned out they were barely aware we were gone - they were playing DS games). We were super happy when it was over though. The curtains & rods etc were aout half the price I had seen at the other stores. It was like clowns at the circus getting it all into the car Re: Where to Buy Curtains. Found Some! Add that they had a blue stripe with the black, grey and white and they got crossed off my list pretty quickly. Did pick up a few bits of needed furniture. Now, I just have to figure out what the heck to do about window coverings. I have a quote for dual rollers, but it's more than I'd like to pay. May have to get the trusty sewing machine out.
