Hello all,
We are in the throws of designing a house with an emphasis on energy efficiency , my basic research on double glazing tells me that timber is best from a less conductive perspective than aluminium which is quite poor. (lets leave out PVC)...
How does thermal break type compare to timber in performance and cost?
We would ideally like to go aluminium but my concern is any benefit of double glazing may be negated by frames to some extent.
cheers
