Browse Forums Windows & Doors 1 May 28, 2009 7:54 pm Hi I have a troublesome arch doorway -attached. The arch is in the middle of the room and I would like to move the door to the side of the room and square it off. Will I need an architect’s approval and planning approval for this? What if I just wanted to square the arch off in its current place, would this need the above tick of approval? The wall inside is the wall that forms the side of the house. Anyway I would very much appreciate any assistance. Smallman Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Moving a brick arch 2May 31, 2009 7:20 am The wall is load bearing.
