Browse Forums Windows & Doors 1 Apr 24, 2007 12:01 am I want big, massive glass walls without joins every couple of metres, from ground level going up to the second floor ceiling. Am I dreaming? Is it possible? Do I need to marry a millionair? Re: BIG glass 2Apr 24, 2007 12:22 pm Hmmm - 2 problems
1 It will be difficult to get an energy rating. And double glazing in walls just rate as single glazed in FirstRate. 2 Start looking for your millionaire. These would need to be site glazed and that adds huge costs. The price of glass is relatively low - but commercial glaziers are expensive (you could marry one of them!!). And the sizes you speak of would need a crane as well. Think over $100,000 for windows. Perhaps you could change your first name to "live in" I found it amusing.... Matt Need to remove glass panel out of concrete without wrecking the glass to get the spa room in, any recommendations on how to do that. Thank you 0 39037 |
