Browse Forums Windows & Doors Re: Poll: High door with high ceilings 3May 11, 2009 10:20 pm I will have 2740mm ceilings and 2340mm doors. I like both the look and the practicality of both. With the wardrobes we have raised the shelf and rail to 1950mm so that we can add another rail underneath and there will also be room for another shelf above if we want. With the extra height in the linen press there is the room to add another shelf as well. I like the idea of lots more storage room in the cupboards. Plus, my family is the land of the giants so it's good to have the extra height. I leave you to fend for yourself, figure things out yourself. Re: Poll: High door with high ceilings 5May 12, 2009 7:08 am We got higher ceillings, didn't get higher doors but wish we had. We would have been happy with them just on some main doors, like front door, hallway door & double doors to rumpus, and maybe to some cupboards like Jo for more storage space. We would have been happy to pay extra for them. It was just never presented as an option to us, and we never thought of it ourselves. Thanks purpleninja, Is it easy to clean the doors ... easy to use or practical? I don't think I've ever cleaned a door.
